Registered Nurse Emergency Room

Job Title

• Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department (Travel)

Location

• Rochester, NH

Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, 13-week assignment, Nights shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 3 shifts per week, on-site

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care to patients in a busy hospital emergency department
• Assess patient symptoms, monitor vital signs, and perform necessary procedures within scope of practice
• Collaborate with medical team to develop and implement patient treatment plans
• Administer medications and manage acute patient needs following established protocols
• Document patient care accurately using the hospital’s documentation system
• Adapt to fluctuating staffing needs by floating to other units as required

Required Qualifications

• Valid and active Compact RN license at submission
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in hospital emergency rooms
• Current BLS certification
• Active ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC, and CPI certifications
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and adapt to variable staffing models

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Strong emergency room skill set with proficiency in advanced procedures
• Experience with GE equipment and Expanses documentation system
• Flexible and team-oriented approach with a focus on patient care excellence
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
