Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM) | 12-Hour Shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 36-bed ICU encompassing Neuro, Cardiac, and Medical-Surgical ICU units
- Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2, or up to 2–3 patients depending on acuity level
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using EPIC electronic health records
- Float to other units within the facility as needed
- Fulfill weekend and holiday shift requirements as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active Illinois (IL) Registered Nurse license
- Minimum 2 years of strong ICU nursing experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Proficiency with EPIC charting
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in Neuro or Cardiac ICU settings
- Familiarity with high-acuity patient populations across multiple ICU subspecialties
