Registered Nurse Cardiac Cath Lab/EP

Job Title

• Registered Nurse - Electrophysiology (EP) / Cardiac Catheterization Lab

• New Britain, CT

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, days, 4 shifts per week, 10 hours per shift

Key Responsibilities

• Provide pre-procedure and post-procedure care for patients undergoing electrophysiology procedures and cardiac ablations
• Assist with device placements including pacemakers, CRTs, MICRAs, and ILRs
• Support patients during admission, recovery, and overall procedure process
• Utilize EPIC electronic medical record system for documentation and workflow management
• Work collaboratively with medical teams to ensure patient safety and quality care
• Maintain compliance with clinical protocols and safety standards

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Connecticut (CT RN license)
• Electrophysiology experience required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Experience with cardiac ablations (A-FIB, A-Flutter, SVT, PFA) and device placements
• Familiarity with EPIC, CARTO, and Claris systems

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a hospital setting, specifically in cardiac electrophysiology or cath lab environments
• Knowledge of pre- and post-procedure patient management and care protocols
