Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days – (5) 8-hour shifts, variable 7:30 AM–4:00 PM or 8:00 AM–4:30 PM | 40 hours per week | On-call required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an Interventional Radiology lab setting
- Assist with IR and special procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout
- Monitor and assess patients before, during, and after interventional procedures
- Respond to on-call needs on weekdays (1–2 times per week, 4:30/5:00 PM – 7:30 AM) and every 4th weekend (Friday 4:30/5:00 PM through Monday 7:30 AM)
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality procedural care
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Connecticut
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Interventional Radiology or Cath Lab
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Ability to fulfill weekday and weekend on-call requirements as outlined
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with EPIC electronic health records system
- Strong familiarity with IR/Cath Lab workflows and procedural protocols
