Registered Nurse – Bone Marrow Transplant

Location

Atlanta, Georgia

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, Varies)

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide intermediate-level inpatient nursing care within a bone marrow transplant unit
  • Administer cell therapy, chemotherapy, and immunotherapy treatments
  • Perform blood product transfusions and monitor patient responses
  • Care for patients undergoing transplant procedures occurring directly on the unit
  • Maintain safe and effective nursing practice within an inpatient isolation environment

Required Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Bone Marrow Transplant or Oncology specialty
  • Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Proficiency with Cerner electronic health records

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Chemotherapy administration certification
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
