Interventional Radiology Technologist – Travel Contract

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13 Weeks) | Travel | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM | On-call required after hours on weekdays and 24-hour weekends

Key Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiology procedures including PICC and central line placements, paracentesis, and thoracentesis
• Assist with embolizations, filter placements, biopsies, and neuro IR procedures
• Operate Philips Biplane imaging equipment in a fast-paced IR suite
• Document patient information and procedure data accurately using Meditech EMR
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including RNs and PCTs to ensure safe, efficient patient care
• Participate in on-call rotation covering after-hours weekdays and 24-hour weekend coverage

Required Qualifications

• Active RT(R) certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on Interventional Radiology experience
• Proficiency with IR procedures including vascular access, embolizations, and image-guided interventions
• Ability to multi-task, adapt to change, and function effectively as a team player in a dynamic environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Neuro IR experience strongly preferred; candidates with this background will be given priority consideration
• Experience with Meditech EMR
• Familiarity with Philips Biplane imaging systems
