Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care and skilled nursing facility setting
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plansAdminister medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Monitor and document patient conditions, reporting changes to appropriate clinical staff
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure quality resident outcomes
- Adhere to all facility policies, regulatory standards, and safety guidelines
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Nebraska or a compact state license
- Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facility environments
- Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including every other weekend and holiday
- Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
- Ability to meet a 13-week contract commitment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel or contract nursing experience in LTC or SNF settings
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems used in long-term care
- Experience with geriatric patient populations and restorative care practices
