Registered Nurse – Vascular Access

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift | 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled vascular access nursing care to patients in a clinical inpatient setting
• Insert, maintain, and troubleshoot vascular access devices including peripheral IVs, PICCs, and central lines
• Assess patients for appropriate vascular access needs and document findings accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Monitor patients for complications related to vascular access and intervene appropriately

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in vascular access or vascular medicine nursing
• Proficiency in placement and management of vascular access devices
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work overnight night shift hours

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a travel nursing capacity or fast-paced hospital environment
• Vascular Access Board Certification (VA-BC) or equivalent credential
• Familiarity with cardiac or vascular care patient populations
