Contract | Days | 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | 36 Hours per Week | Onsite | Weekend Requirement: Friday & Saturday
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery setting across multiple care areas including L&D, Intermediate Care Nursery, and Postpartum
- Participate in NST clinic coverage as part of unit float responsibilities
- Float among all assigned unit areas as needed to meet patient care demands
- Monitor and assess maternal and fetal status throughout labor and delivery
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active Illinois Registered Nurse license
- Current CPR certification
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
- At least one prior travel contract or per diem assignment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience floating across Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery care areas
- Familiarity with NST clinic procedures and monitoring
