Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) | 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM | On-Call Required as Needed

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a broad range of MRI examinations including abdomen, pelvis, chest, head and neck, musculoskeletal, spine, and cardiovascular studies
• Execute advanced imaging procedures including MRA, MRV, MRCP, CINE, perfusion, diffusion, gradient echo, spin echo, and multiplanar reconstruction techniques
• Operate surface coils and apply T-1 and T-2 weighted imaging protocols with accuracy and efficiency
• Document and chart patient information and imaging results using Cerner EMR
• Respond to on-call requirements as needed to support facility operations
• Adhere to all facility protocols, safety standards, and compliance requirements within an acute care, Level I Trauma, Magnet-designated environment

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of MRI technologist experience
• ARRT-MR certification preferred
• Active Illinois license required; must be in hand at time of submission unless otherwise noted
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR
• Demonstrated experience across a comprehensive range of MRI modalities including abdomen, pelvis, spine, musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, chest, and head and neck protocols
• Must be present in Illinois at least 3 business days prior to compliance start date to fulfill fingerprinting requirements

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Level I Trauma center experience
• Experience working in a Magnet-designated acute care hospital
• Familiarity with peripheral MRA including iliac and runoff studies
