Contract | Travel | Days | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

  • Scrub and assist in cardiovascular operating room procedures, ensuring proper instrumentation and sterile technique throughout
  • Prepare and maintain the sterile field before, during, and after CVOR surgical cases
  • Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and pass instruments and supplies efficiently during procedures
  • Perform counts of sponges, instruments, and sharps in accordance with facility policy
  • Assist with patient positioning, prepping, and draping prior to surgical procedures

Required Qualifications

  • Active Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification
  • Minimum of 1 year of surgical technologist experience
  • Demonstrated experience in a cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) setting
  • Ability to fulfill a 13-week travel contract assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Prior travel surgical technologist experience
  • Familiarity with a high-volume cardiovascular surgical environment
