OB Surgical Technologist – Travel Contract

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide surgical technologist support within a Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) unit
• Assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, D&E, D&C, tubal ligations, vaginal repairs, and hysterectomies
• Work collaboratively alongside RNs and other clinical staff in a variable-acuity environment
• Operate and maintain GE equipment in accordance with unit standards
• Document patient care activities accurately using the EPIC electronic health records system
• Float to other units as needed based on census levels

Required Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
• Minimum of 2 years of surgical technologist experience
• Demonstrated knowledge and hands-on experience in a labor and delivery setting
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel assignment experience in an OB or surgical setting
• Familiarity with EPIC documentation systems
• Experience with GE obstetric or surgical equipment
