Key Responsibilities
- Assist with a variety of complex specialized tasks operating fluoroscopy, computed tomography, laser, and ultrasonography equipment during vascular and neuroradiology angiographic and interventional procedures.
- Help develop and implement systems to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of patients in interventional labs.
- Serve in circulating and scrubbing roles during procedures, providing patient education and assisting with patient care within scope of practice.
- Manage inventory and coordinate schedules to support department operations.
- Follow all policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and report malfunctions to appropriate personnel.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of training/experience in vascular and neuro procedures.
- Current state licensure (Texas: MRT by TMBBLS required).
- ARRT certification in Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI).
- Basic computer skills.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ACLS certification is preferred.
- Experience working in a hospital setting with inpatient and outpatient services.
