Emergency Room Registered Nurse – Flex Team, Night Shift

Contract | Night Shift | 3x12 or 4x12 shifts available | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a large, high-acuity emergency care unit with 118 beds
• Manage a diverse patient population including behavioral health, boarding, emergency/trauma, and critically ill/ICU-level patients
• Maintain a typical patient ratio of 1:6 while adapting to fluctuating census and acuity levels
• Demonstrate strong critical care skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department or ICU experience, post-orientation
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex and unstable patients independently

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for behavioral health patients in an emergency or acute care setting
• Background in high-acuity or trauma emergency environments
• Comfort working with critically ill patients requiring ICU-level interventions
