Contract | 8-Week Assignment | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Hours per Week | Every Other Weekend Rotation | Possible Unit Float
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to geriatric patients in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Monitor and document patient conditions, progress, and responses to care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support individualized patient care plans
- Rotate to other units as needed based on facility staffing requirements
- Adhere to scheduled holiday assignments as required
Required Qualifications
- Active North Carolina LPN license in good standing
- Minimum of 1 year of geriatric LPN experience
- Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) electronic health records system
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility (LTC/SNF) environment
- Comfort with unit floating and adaptability in fast-paced care settings
