Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations of all body parts for diagnostic interpretation, applying principles of radiation protection and professional judgment
• Operate CT equipment including setting up and running automatic injectors, adjusting contrast levels per age group, and altering protocols for pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric patients
• Assist with invasive/interventional procedures, consult with referring physicians, and maintain competency in sterile technique and tele-radiology transmission
• Maintain patient records, participate in departmental quality assurance programs, and perform daily/weekly QC
• Rotate shifts as required, take on-call responsibilities with the ability to report to work within 20 minutes, and assume departmental supervisory responsibilities in the absence of a supervisor
• Work across multiple imaging modalities as directed, including X-Ray, MRI, CT, and Mammography, maintaining competency in ancillary modalities

Required Qualifications

• Current ARRT certification in Radiography
• Clinical Competency required within 3 months of hire and renewed every three years
• Ability to perform all diagnostic exams related to assigned modality
• Willingness and ability to learn and work across multiple imaging modalities
• Ability to take call and report to work within 20 minutes

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ARRT certification in CT, MR, Mammography, or Nuclear Medicine (additional modality certifications reflect higher tech tier levels)
• Experience with venipuncture and contrast administration
• Familiarity with contraindications of contrast agents and tele-radiology systems
• Experience working with patients across all age groups, from newborn through geriatric
