Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care across Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, OB Triage, Antepartum, and Normal Newborn settings
- Assist with and circulate for vaginal and cesarean deliveries in the OR
- Administer blood and blood products; manage epidural pumps, PCA pumps, and drains
- Administer high-risk medications including insulin and magnesium sulfate
- Perform adult IV starts and fetal heart monitoring
- Float to sister facilities as needed; staffing ratio is 1:1–3
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of experience in LDRP, L&D, Postpartum, and Newborn care
- Required certifications: AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, FHM, NRP
- Proficiency in circulating for cesarean sections, fetal heart monitoring, and IV starts
- Must commit to working 3 of the following 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be considered as a traveler; locals are welcome to apply
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ACLS certification preferred
- Experience in high-risk antepartum and high-risk L&D settings
- Experience with couplet care and pre-op/post-op OB patients
