Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized wound care assessment, treatment, and management for assigned patients
- Develop and implement individualized wound care plans in accordance with clinical best practices
- Monitor wound healing progress and document findings accurately in the patient record
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate patient treatment and outcomes
- Educate patients and caregivers on wound care procedures and prevention strategies
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Wound Care Certification is required
- Must be available to arrive at least 48 hours prior to start date to complete New Mexico state fingerprinting requirements
- Must live at least 200 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a dedicated wound care clinical role
- Familiarity with New Mexico state healthcare regulations and compliance standards
