Pressing Reset on 2020

Pressing Reset on 2020

In January we set resolutions and committed to staying true to them.

Surely none of us knew what 2020 had in store for us.

Alas, here we are.

The last 4 months have been filled with challenges and at times it has felt impossible to escape the negative aspects that seem to be plaguing our Country.

So how do we refocus and get back to the ideal future we envisioned for ourselves at the start of 2020?

Here are some suggestions.

  1. Set a new goal! –  Any time is a good time to set strong, achievable goals.

Keep social distancing in mind as you set said goals. Keeping obstacles in mind while setting goals helps avoid pitfalls that could derail you from  success.

  1. Learn new stress reduction techniques

Due to closures at gyms and other facilities used to help people manage stress, many are finding themselves poorly equipped to manage anxiety during these challenging times.

Don’t leave it up to faith, find new activities you can do within the current climate.

Whether you stretch, meditate, breathe, go for a walk, read a book – find a way to reduce stress in the moment so you can make clear headed decisions.

  1. Don’t give up on Networking.

We have said this before and we will say it again, networking is the KEY to your career success!

Connect with people via zoom meetings and continue to partake in virtual networking events to continue to build that essential network.

Keep your head up as we continue to trek this bumpy road, you’ve got this!

Remember, we are all in this together and Together We Are iDEAL!
