Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care and support to incarcerated individuals in a correctional facility.
- Float to other areas as needed to ensure all units are adequately staffed.
- Maintain compliance with facility policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Document patient assessments, treatments, and interventions accurately.
- Collaborate with healthcare and security staff to ensure quality care and safety.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.
- Ability to adapt to different clinical settings within a correctional environment.
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
- Availability to work every other weekend.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in correctional or detention facility healthcare.
- Knowledge of security protocols and safety procedures in correctional settings.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus.
