Key Responsibilities
- Provide emergency room nursing care for a diverse patient population.
- Work rotating day/night shifts with a minimum of every other weekend.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards.
- Participate in bi-weekly orientations and adapt schedules as needed to meet patient care demands.
- Cover 2 out of 4 major holidays, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Years Day.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse license.
- Minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience.
- Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications (TNCC proof required prior to start).
- EPIC electronic medical record experience within the past 2 years.
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred, especially in large, teaching hospital environments.
- Must be flexible and available for a 16-32 week assignment starting November 17th.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Certifications such as CEN, ENPC, MOAB, ProAct, or other de-escalation training are a plus.
- Experience working in facilities with 500+ beds or multiple ERs.

Additional Information
- Assignment duration: 16-32 weeks.
- Travel rate: $105/hour with radius pay incentives based on distance.
- Travel experience and previous ER work in large facilities are advantageous.
- Reliable transportation is required; public transit is not available.
- Vehicle preparedness: all-season or snow tires recommended from November to April.
- All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained; complete work history including bed count, EMR, and facility type required for submission.
- No block schedules; shifts may include weekends and holidays.
- Bi-weekly orientation starts December 1st.
