Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, Day shifts, 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week
Key Responsibilities
- Perform adult and pediatric echocardiograms, including bubble studies, contrast imaging, and routine studies
- Conduct advanced procedures such as pharmacologic stress echoes, transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE), and portable studies
- Operate and optimize Siemens ultrasound equipment and follow protocols for various echo exams
- Prepare patients, ensure safety precautions, and maintain proper documentation in the hospital's electronic health record system
- Support ICU/ED procedures with specialized ultrasound imaging as needed
- Participate in on-call rotation, including nights and weekends, as scheduled
Required Qualifications
- ARDMS, BLS, and RDCS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of adult and pediatric echo experience
- Skilled in M-Mode, RVIT, RVOT, treadmill stress echo, and contrast agents
- Ability to perform transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms
- Experience with Siemens ultrasound systems preferred
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working within a hospital setting at a Level II Trauma center
- Comfortable floating within scope to meet facility needs
- Familiarity with Cerner charting system
