Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical-Surgical setting following established protocols.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, updating care plans accordingly.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient outcomes.
- Adhere to infection control procedures, including COVID-19 and other isolation protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Nursys license verification.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a Medical-Surgical specialty.
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment without stated restrictions on time off.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience caring for patients with infectious diseases, including COVID-19 and Monkey Pox.
- Strong skills in patient assessment and documentation.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
