- Full-time, Days shift, 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab and Electrophysiology (EP) Lab.
- Assist with a variety of cardiac procedures including diagnostic angiograms, pacemaker and defibrillator insertions, ablations, and arrhythmia management.
- Monitor patient condition during and after procedures, including invasive monitoring like Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan-Ganz monitoring.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols, including radiation safety and patient documentation.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or EP Lab.
- Valid South Carolina or multi-state/compact nursing license.
- Certifications: ACLS and BLS required.
- Radiation badge must be obtained through the staffing agency.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with cardiac ablations, cardioversion, conduction studies, and pacemaker/ICD programming.
- Ability to float to similar cardiac units if needed.
