Schedule / Job Type
• Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, full-time
Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate with healthcare team to assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
• Monitor and evaluate patients during labor and delivery, ensuring safety and optimal outcomes
• Implement patient and family education on labor, delivery, and postpartum care
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of patient assessments and care activities
• Adhere to hospital policies, regulatory standards, and professional practice guidelines
• Respond promptly to patient needs, including emergency situations, and coordinate appropriate interventions
Required Qualifications
• Montana RN license
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) provider certification
• Electronic Fetal Monitoring Series Certificate (or equivalent AWHONN-approved course)
• American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• One year of labor and delivery or PACU RN experience
• Ability to practice modified primary nursing and demonstrate sound judgment and professionalism
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience working in a fast-paced labor and delivery environment
• Willingness to float to maternity and postpartum units as needed
• Ability to handle stressful situations with patience and critical thinking
