Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 10-hour day shifts, 4 days per week

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for surgery by reviewing medical histories, reconciling medications, obtaining vital signs, and starting IVs.
• Administer preoperative medications and fluids as ordered.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and recovery post-anesthesia, ensuring patient safety throughout phases of care.
• Review and relay discharge instructions; facilitate patient discharge via wheelchair to vehicle.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia, and OR staff to provide safe, effective patient care in a busy environment.
• Support a variety of procedural services including Orthopedics, Interventional Radiology, and Gastroenterology.

Required Qualifications

• Active SC or Multi-State/Compact RN license
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Minimum of 1 year RN experience in a perioperative setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in PreOp or PACU preferred but first-timers are welcome to apply
• Ability to float within scope if needed
