Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, 13-week travel assignment, night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients in a busy Labor & Delivery unit.
- Support vaginal and cesarean births, mom-baby couplet care, and postpartum recovery.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and adherence to clinical protocols.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Adhere to staffing guidelines and support unit operations as needed, including floating to other hospital areas.
- Ensure patient care standards are met following AWHONN guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Valid BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.
- AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification within the last two years.
- Minimum of 2 years of labor and delivery nursing experience.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Inpatient OB certification.
- C-EFM (Cardiotocography) experience.
