Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients during labor, delivery, postpartum, and neonatal phases.
- Monitor and utilize equipment such as Electronic Fetal Monitoring, fetal warmers, and medication systems.
- Document patient care accurately using electronic medical records, including Epic EMR.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort through high-quality clinical interventions.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to support birthing and postpartum processes.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in obstetrics (OB) nursing.
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association).
- Certifications in NRP, AWHONN, and Intermediate Fetal Monitoring.
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse in Indiana or appropriate state credentials.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a high-volume Labor and Delivery unit.
- Knowledge of postpartum and neonatal care best practices.
