- Full-time, Day shifts, 4 days per week (10-hour shifts)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient speech therapy services for pediatric and adult patients with neurodevelopmental and communication challenges.
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans utilizing standardized evaluation tools such as CELF, PLS-4, and Rossetti Infant-Toddler Language Scale.
- Manage cases involving autism, developmental delays, language disorders, dysphagia, and behavioral challenges.
- Document patient progress and treatment using EPIC electronic health record system.
- Collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams to support patient safety and therapy goals.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols including recognition of signs of abuse and patient safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- BLS certification
- Experience with pediatric outpatient settings, including autism and developmental delays
- Proficiency with communication devices and augmentative communication tools
- Experience with dysphagia management and evaluation tools such as Modified Barium Swallow Studies
- Knowledge of patient safety protocols and ability to educate patients and families
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in children's hospitals, home health care, or pediatric rehab facilities
- Familiarity with EPIC documentation systems
- Additional certifications in working with behavioral or neurodevelopmental disorders
