• Night shifts, 3 days per week, 12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a busy medical surgical/telemetry unit within a short-term acute care hospital.
• Manage vasoactive drips and stroke patients, ensuring timely interventions and safety.
• Float within scope to three hospital locations within the hospital system as needed.
• Prioritize time-sensitive modules and ensure compliance with facility requirements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver quality patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months recent acute care/telemetry experience, including PCU or cardiac telemetry.
• Valid permanent or compact Ohio nursing license (or eligible for same-day licensing).
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications, with NIHSS to be obtained prior to start.
• Experience with vasoactive drips and stroke patient care.
• Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments.
• Negative drug screen including 10-panel and cotinine (nicotine) test.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2+ years of recent telemetry or acute care experience preferred.
• Prior experience working in teaching hospitals or Level Trauma centers.
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system.
• Ability to adapt to multiple hospital settings and float as needed.
