Registered Nurse - Emergency Room
Location: Fort Defiance, AZ
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, contract, 12-hour shifts, on a rotating basis (day, mids, night)
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in a busy Emergency Department, including acute, observation, and fast-track areas.
• Rotate through various units such as Triage, COVID Tent, Entry Screening, and Immunization clinics as needed.
• Assist with COVID testing and immunizations, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
• Coordinate and respond to patient needs, including task-oriented duties like answering call lights and phones.
• Contribute to a collaborative team environment, supporting department operations during high volume periods.
  Required Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years recent RN experience in an emergency or acute care setting.
• Valid RN license and active BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC certifications.
• Certification in conscious sedation (procured through facility for a fee) or willingness to obtain.
  Preferred Experience / Skills:
• Prior experience in a multi-faceted Emergency Department environment.
• Ability to adapt to rotating shifts and float to different departments as needed.
• Strong patient care and communication skills.
