Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced cardiac cath and peripheral angiography, electrophysiologic studies, therapeutic interventional procedures, and cardiac device implantations.
- Provide peri-procedural care and patient education.
- Assist cardiologists and specialists during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures.
- Support high-acuity, fast-paced cath lab environment, including structural heart procedures such as Watchman device implantation.
- Cover weekly overnight shifts and every fourth weekend, with potential holiday on-call responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in any state (temporary licenses accepted, processing time 5-10 days).
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a cardiac cath lab setting.
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system and MacLab.
- Experience performing cardiac cath, angiography, electrophysiology, and interventional procedures.
- Ability to manage high patient volumes in a Level 3 Cath lab.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Electrophysiology (EP) experience.
- Experience with structural heart procedures such as Watchman device implantation.
- Knowledge of hospital protocols and procedures related to cardiac care.
