Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Night shifts (3x12 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to emergency department patients.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and manage dysrhythmias.
• Administer medications including IV vasopressors and procedural sedation.
• Assist with emergency procedures such as chest tube management, intubation, and ventilator care.
• Conduct patient assessments, triage, and coordinate patient visits within a Level II Trauma Center setting.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely and effective patient care.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Washington State or Compact Nursing license.
• Minimum of 3 years of ER nursing experience, including ICU or emergency trauma.
• Current ACLS, BLS, NIH, and PALS certifications.
• Experience with IV therapy, medication administration, and cardiac monitoring.
• Ability to interpret EKGs and manage emergency responses.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a Level II Trauma Center.
• Previous charge nurse or leadership experience in emergency settings.
• Charting experience using electronic medical record systems.
