Job Title: Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Location: Fort Wayne, IN

Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Days

Key Responsibilities: • Provide high-quality patient care to a diverse population with varying diagnoses and medical conditions • Assess, plan, coordinate, and implement individualized care plans for patients with medical and surgical needs • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care • Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) and other technology to manage patient data and communicate with healthcare teams • Perform various medical procedures, such as IV therapy management, wound care, and medication administration • Manage complex medical equipment, including IV pumps, oxygen therapy, and cardiac monitors

Required Qualifications: • Current RN license in the state of IN (or compact license) • 1.5+ years of experience in Medical Surgical nursing • Experience in a similar-sized facility (600+ beds) • Certification in ACLS, BLS, and ARRT (or willingness to obtain) • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Experience / Skills: • Experience with Epic electronic medical records • Knowledge of medical surgical procedures, including wound care and IV therapy management • Experience with telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
