Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Days

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care across multiple departments and locations within a 20-mile radius.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document patient needs and responses.
• Ensure the delivery of safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, and equitable care.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members to coordinate comprehensive care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, adhering to protocols and documentation standards.
• Supervise and support LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel, ensuring competency and compliance.

Required Qualifications:

• Current nursing license in the State of New Mexico or a Compact State license.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or equivalent.
• At least two years of current experience in the Medical Surgical specialty.
• Prior 13-week travel nursing assignment preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records system (training available onsite).
