Schedule / Job Type: Nights, Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide emergency nursing care to adult and pediatric patients in a busy ER environment.
• Manage patient flow, perform assessments, and prioritize patient needs.
• Interpret dysrhythmias and administer emergency medications, including IV vasopressors.
• Obtain 12-lead EKGs, start IVs, and care for central lines.
• Administer blood products and manage patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure timely, quality patient care.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid state license as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Minimum of 1 year of emergency room nursing experience.
• Ability to interpret dysrhythmias and manage complex emergent situations.
• Experience with epinephrine and blood product administration.
• Competence in central line care, phlebotomy, and starting IVs.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience with CRRT is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records.
• Prior experience in a combined adult/pedi ER setting.
