Key Responsibilities

• Provide Emergency Room nursing care to a diverse patient population in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary medical team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
• Handle a variety of emergencies, including trauma, cardiac, respiratory, and pediatric cases.
• Document patient care accurately in Cerner electronic health record system.
• Conduct procedures such as moderate sedation, stroke codes, trauma codes, and more.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout varied emergency scenarios.

Required Qualifications

• Valid registered nurse license in Delaware or a compact state.
• Recent experience in emergency or acute care nursing preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Ability to work rotating night shifts.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with pediatric emergency care.
• Familiarity with Cerner charting system.
• Ability to handle high-acuity emergencies confidently.
