Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality emergency care to a diverse patient population in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary medical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Handle a variety of emergencies, including trauma, cardiac, respiratory, and neurological events.
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner electronic charting system.
• Support the emergency department’s operations within a designated nurse-to-patient ratio, typically 1:4.
• Participate in specialized procedures such as moderate sedation and codes (Stroke, Heart, Trauma).

Required Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Delaware or relevant state.
• Proven emergency nursing experience, preferably in a fast-paced ER setting.
• Ability to handle multiple emergency situations with critical thinking skills.
• Basic life support (BLS) certification; advanced certifications (ACLS, PALS) preferred.
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic health records system.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience in pediatric and adult emergency care.
• Prior exposure to trauma, stroke, or cardiac arrest protocols.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to evolving emergency scenarios.
