Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients in the IMC/PCU/Stepdown unit, ensuring safe and effective delivery of care.
- Monitor telemetry and respond to changes in patient conditions promptly.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient progress accurately in the electronic medical record (Cerner).
- Assist with quick patient turnover, including short-stay and overflow patients.
- Float to other units as needed, supporting hospital operations and ensuring coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Carolina or appropriate state license.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- At least 2 years of RN experience, specifically in progressive care or similar units.
- Telemetry competency required.
- Ability to work 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM shifts.
- Positive attitude, compassionate, team player, and patient-focused.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Recent progressive care experience.
- Experience working with telemetry and short-stay patients.
