Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care and assessments based on established protocols.
• Operate and monitor equipment such as PB 980, PB 840, and Respironics V60.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer treatments including post-operative respiratory therapy, including assessment-driven protocols.
• Support patient care in a variety of hospital units, including specialized respiratory and ICU settings.
• Document care interventions accurately in the electronic medical record (Meditech).

Required Qualifications

• Valid Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of critical care experience.
• ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Ability to work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Post-operative cardiothoracic surgery experience.
• Experience in a mixed ICU or respiratory floor.
• Strong team-player with self-motivation and a positive, patient-centered attitude.
