Key Responsibilities
• Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms to assess patient cardiac status.
• Provide critical care to adult medical-surgical patients on a designated unit.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to respond promptly to changes in patient acuity.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments as ordered.
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic health record system.
• Assist with patient assessments and ensure safety protocols are followed.

Required Qualifications
• Active RN license in North Carolina or state acceptable for reciprocity.
• BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of medical-surgical and telemetry nursing experience.
• Strong critical thinking, time management, and communication skills.
• Ability to assess patients and alert team to changes in condition.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with Cerner electronic health records.
• Familiarity with procedures such as IV antibiotic administration, tube feeds, PEG feedings.
• Team-oriented mindset and willingness to assist colleagues.
