Registered Nurse - ICU
Location: Herrin, IL
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, 13-week contract, night shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), rotating weekends (every other Friday and Saturday nights)

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patients to determine mental, physical, and spiritual needs.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Monitor and recognize changes in patient condition using clinical judgment; report findings appropriately.
• Provide patient and family education, explanations, and instructions.
• Maintain accurate and complete medical records.
• Contribute to a positive, conflict-free workplace environment through professional communication.
• Participate in continuing education and meet all core measure responsibilities.

Required Qualifications:

• Current Illinois Registered Nurse license.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Minimum of two years of ICU experience.
• Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend, with flexibility to handle patient needs on a 13-week assignment.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience working with a young and dynamic ICU team.
• Knowledge of cardiac, stroke, or critical care procedures.
• Ability to utilize advanced clinical judgment in acute patient situations.
