Key Responsibilities
• Perform computed tomography (CT) scans and radiographic exams according to established protocols.
• Operate computerized tomographic scanners to produce clear and accurate radiographs of designated anatomical areas.
• Obtain patient histories, explain procedures, and address patient concerns with professionalism and compassion.
• Work a hybrid schedule, primarily from Friday to Sunday, including on-call rotations at designated facilities.
• Adhere to all safety and documentation standards, including proper use of radiation badges and maintenance of imaging quality.
Required Qualifications
• Minimum of one year of experience as a registered Radiologic Technologist with CT certification.
• Valid ARRT (R) (CT) certification and SC license in radiological technology.
• Current CPR/BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Successfully completed an AMA-approved radiological technology program.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a radiation badge.
• Knowledge of digital charting systems, preferably Epic.
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Prior experience working in an acute care hospital or emergency setting.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during on-call shifts.
