Key Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic interventions for the rehabilitation of physical and developmental disorders under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Oversee and implement comprehensive rehab programs tailored to meet patients' physical, psychosocial, and environmental needs.
• Promote patient and caregiver self-determination by utilizing external resources to maximize independence.
• Coordinate care efforts and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams involved in patient treatment.
• Support discharge planning and goal achievement during the course of treatment.
• Advocate for patients to ensure optimal care and progress.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• NM state Physical Therapist Assistant license.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Health and Safety).
• At least two (2) years of current experience in a relevant specialty.
• Flexibility and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Successful completion of at least one 13-week travel assignment.
