Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to pediatric intensive care patients.
• Monitor and manage patients with respiratory distress, respiratory failure, DKA, seizures, and pain.
• Administer and oversee patient treatments including moderate sedation, drips, arterial lines, central lines, and CVP.
• Collaborate with medical teams to implement care plans and ensure patient safety.
• Document patient progress and responses to interventions accurately and timely.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a PICU setting.
• Valid BCLS and PALS certifications.
• Experience caring for patients with respiratory distress, failure, DKA, and seizures.
• Proficiency in administering moderate sedation, managing drips, and handling arterial and central lines.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience working as a travel nurse is a plus.
• Strong critical care skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
