Key Responsibilities
- Perform computed tomography (CT) procedures on ambulatory and hospitalized patients based on physician or licensed provider requests.
- Ensure imaging is conducted in accordance with established protocols to assist in diagnosis of disease or injury.
- Operate CT imaging equipment and maintain image quality and patient safety standards.
- Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to deliver accurate diagnostic images.
- Adhere to all safety and compliance guidelines during procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Less than 1 year of experience in CT imaging.
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT).
- Valid license as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) issued by the Texas Medical Board.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Additional certification in Radiography (ARRT-R), Nuclear Medicine (ARRT-N), or as a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) is a plus.
- Prior experience in a hospital or outpatient imaging environment.
