Schedule / Job Type
• Travel, 13-week assignment, Night shifts

Key Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality care to patients on a 36-bed telemetry unit focused on respiratory disorders.
• Float to other units and hospitals as required to ensure patient care continuity.
• Collaborate with respiratory therapy, physical therapy, care management, and pharmacy teams.
• Deliver specialized nursing care with a focus on respiratory skills and general medicine.
• Complete documentation using the Meditech electronic medical record system.

Required Qualifications
• Registered Nurse license in Alabama or a valid Compact state license (no temporary licenses).
• Associated degree in nursing.
• AHA BLS or Red Cross Basic Life Support certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience; consideration given to candidates with 18 months of experience working in a specialty field.
• At least 1 year of experience in a respiratory or pulmonary care setting.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience working in telemetry units or pulmonary specialty settings.
• Ability to float between units and adapt to different patient care environments.
