Job Title

Schedule / Job Type
- Travel, Night shifts, 13-week assignment, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to ICU patients in a Level II Trauma, Stroke, and Chest Pain Center
- Manage ventilators, critical care drips, and advanced cardiac, neuro, and respiratory systems
- Perform procedures such as intubations, cardioversions, ventriculostomy drain management, and proning
- Collaborate with a highly experienced team to maintain top-quality patient care and safety
- Foster a compassionate, patient-centered environment using AIDET and bedside hand-off reporting
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Louisiana or the applicable state
- ACLS and BLS certified
- Willing to care for COVID-19 patients and follow PPE protocols
- ICU experience with ventilator management and critical care skills
- Strong assessment abilities and proficiency with cardiac, neuro, and respiratory systems
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and adaptability skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- TNCC certification
- Experience with advanced procedures such as ventriculostomy management and continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT)
- Ability to work flexibly in a dynamic, high-acuity environment
- Prior experience in a Magnet or Pathways to Excellence certified hospital
