Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical unit, focusing on ortho spine, hip, and joint procedures.
- Monitor patient progress and document care accurately using Meditech EMR.
- Assist with traction, spine, and orthopedic precautions.
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient outcomes.
- Maintain safety and adherence to unit policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate compassionate and outgoing demeanor to support patient well-being.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience, preferably in Medical Surgical units.
- Experience with traction, spine, hip, or joint care is required.
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM).
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR system.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a hospital setting with orthopedic focus.
- Knowledge of spine and joint precautions.
- Outgoing, team-oriented personality with strong communication skills.
