Job Title
- Registered Nurse - PreOp

Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, Day shifts, 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients in the PreOp and PostAnesthesia Care Unit (PACU) setting.
- Monitor patient safety, manage recovery, and assist with assessments pre- and post-surgery.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient information accurately and promptly.
- Respond to patient needs and emergencies during recovery periods.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 months recent and permanent PACU experience.
- Valid Ohio license or Compact State license.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a hospital PACU setting.
- Familiarity with PBDS assessments and Lotus for time tracking.
- Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills.
